Bill Macomber
Principal

Bill is a Final Cut Pro expert with over 15 years of experience in editing, onlining and system design/implementation.  With a background in film theory and production, he started Fancy Film to continue learning, growing and finding new experiences as an artist.  Verité documentary is his passion, and his love of it can be seen in every project that the company becomes involved with.
Michael Smollin
Lead Color Correction Artist

Originally from New York, Michael has colored feature films and broadcast television. He's a Nucoda HD expert and past credits include Skyline and New York, I Love You.
Matt Hopkins
Post Production Supervisor

Matt's background is as a theatre director and video designer in New York.  His command of both Final Cut Pro and Avid, as well as his fluency on all our complex systems, make Matt essential to all of Fancy Film's operations.
Stephanie Filo
Freelance Editor

Stephanie’s editorial and technical expertise make her the anchor to most projects that we work on. With such a broad background that includes still photography and professional football cheerleading, she is an adaptable and excellent asset to Fancy Film.
Paul Hollman / Soulshine Music
Lead Sound Designer

Paul Hollman is the owner-operator of The Dubroom Studio, specializing in audio post-production. His work with Fancy Film is seen and heard on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, The Travel Channel and ABC.
The Dubroom Studio is located on the famed Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. 
It features Pro Tools HD, top-grade microphones, two VO booths and a comfortable creative working environment.

Fancy Film is the West Coast affiliate of Lone Wolf Documentary Group, a production company based in Portland, Maine. Their clients include major cable channels including the Discovery and History Channel.
Karga Seven Pictures specializes in reality television and features. With an expansion into a new space beside Fancy Film and a branch in Istanbul, Turkey, Karga Seven will be busier than ever.



VPF creates powerful character-driven documentaries and award-winning branded content for TV and the web.
