BILL MACOMBER - Proprietor
• Bill is a Final Cut Pro expert with over 10 years of experience in editing, onlining and system design/implementation. With a background in film theory and production, he started Fancy Film to continue learning, growing and finding new experiences as an artist. Verité documentary is his passion, and his love of it can be seen in every project that the company becomes involved with.
SHANE WILLIS - Full Time Associate / Coordinator
• With a studio arts background (and degrees from UT Austin and CalArts), Shane was ultimately drawn to documentary and then post production. His thoughtful and creative input enriches the projects that he is involved with - and there are few that pass through that don't get his attention in some way.
Freelancers
KIM BUBAR - Editor
• After graduating from UC Santa Cruz in 2005, Kim joined the full-time team and moved quickly from assistant to associate to staff editor. She has an impressive roster of loyal clients and past projects. Her natural talent, sunny personality and determined work ethic make her a favorite of all that visit. She now works on a freelance basis.
CHRISTOPH BAADEN - Editor / Colorist
• Christoph is a top-notch reality editor and color correction artist, and a long-time collaborator. He is a project leader and manages teams on our most complex projects.
TOM MARONEY - Editor / Colorist
• Tom is an established Reality editor, and has worked with us extensively on our projects with Stone and Co, most notably as co-lead editor on "Kids in Charge: Family Vacation"
BEN MEYER - Editor
• Our top graphics editor, Ben adds flash to all the videos he works on. A director and writer as well, Ben's grasp of story and the viewer's experience make him a great choice for videos in need of structure and polish.
RAMDATH SUCHIT - Editor
• Ramdath is a young editor whose speed and storytelling abilities have brought him success very quickly. He has worked with a number of clients, and his cheerful, professional demeanor
DAN WESTBROOK - Editor
• Dan is a corporate and event video specialist, often working with few source materials and coming up with great, on-message videos. He is a very fast editor, and often works off-hours on time-intensive projects.
NANCY JEAN TUCKER - Colorist
• Nancy is our primary colorist, working in Final Cut and Color. From features to documentary and reality to non-profit videos, her coloring touch is a big part of Fancy Film's polished look.
JED LACKRITZ - Assistant Editor
• Jed splits his time between assistant editing at Fancyland, working for the Center for Land Use Interpretation and tuning accordions. Jed's detail oriented work ethic and calm, kind manner make him a pleasure to work with. He works freelance on a project basis.
ANDY JURGENSEN - Assistant Editor / Coordinator
• A recent grad of UC Santa Barbara, Andy came to Fancy Film with a background in feature film. Andy has recently moved on to assist Jon Poll (director, "Charlie Bartlet") on his new feature. We wish Andy best of luck as he persues a career in narrative feature post!
KRISTIE FLEMING - Assistant Editor
• Kristie is a burgening Assistant editor who works part time with us on projects that need round-the-clock attention.
RON EIGEN & GABE LANDAU - Directors / Producers
• Ron and Gabe run Diligent, LLC, a video production company closely associated with Fancy Film. When a project involves production, we turn to them!
